We’re thrilled to introduce our new Special Needs Retreat featuring over 112m2 of combined indoor / outdoor learning space, a thoughtfully designed space created with accessibility and comfort in mind. The retreat features a unique structure made from a 12x3 hub at the back, complemented by two 6x3 hubs on either side, all connected by a roof that unifies the space into a seamless outdoor learning environment.
This innovative design includes two accessible toilets and showers, as well as a wet area designed specifically for messy play. The layout offers two adjacent learning spaces, each designed to provide distinct zones for teaching, personal care, and re-regulation when needed.
One space can be transformed into a sensory retreat, complete with soft furnishings and dim lighting, fostering a calm and soothing atmosphere. The other can be outfitted with tables and learning assistive equipment, supporting focused and collaborative learning activities.
Screw piles are recommended for the foundation unless placed on a concrete slab. Screw pile installer contracts directly with you to arrange foundation preparation.
