Our passion lies in understanding the unique needs of students with neurodiversity and making a positive impact. Research indicates that some students require a break from the traditional, noisy, and overstimulating classroom environment. Unfortunately, many schools have overlooked the potential of using the outdoors as a valuable learning space. That's why we've developed a solution that allows you to create a retreat for re-regulation and a conducive open-air environment for all students to learn. Through the creation of sensory spaces and tailored environments, we aim to promote overall well-being and encourage a deeper connection with nature. Our approach emphasises freedom and building relationships with our natural surroundings.

About us

Since 2006, our Nelson based family has been designing and innovating spaces for children and young people to thrive and be themselves - naturally. Our Indoor furnishing brand - LSG provide bespoke furnishing for all education environments, while our globally renown Outdoor Play equipment brand - Outdorable, is our link with the great outdoors.

The Outclass innovation was born in mid 2024, through a dream we had to provide a remedy for the current rise in the need to manage students with neurodiversity throughout Aotearoa. Creating offsite manufactured hubs, which can be simply placed into your outdoor spaces, to encourage places for re-regulation and nature-based learning for all learners to engage in.

We’ve made it easy for you with purposed-built options and sizes to suit your specific needs, along with tailored funding solutions to help you make this a reality. We love to visit schools and Kura’s to better understand your needs so we can help you create the spaces your students and educators deserve.
